This submitted bachelor thesis analyses an attempt to reform the electoral system to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic after the 2006 election. The theoretical framework is based on the theory of mixed electoral systems by Canadian political scientists Louis Massicotte and André Blais. The aim of author of this work is hypothetical application of this failed electoral reform to the parliamentary election in 2013, its classification according to Massicotte and Blais and last but not least, a criticism of this attempted electoral promoted particularly by Civic Democratic Party.
